Annual Members’ Meeting
The first annual member’s meeting since the Society’s share offer, took place in Amberley Church at 7.30 pm on Monday 18th October 2021. It was attended by just over 30 members many of whom enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine before proceedings began. The meeting provided a chance for the committee to update members with news on membership, finances, fund raising progress and progress with the building tendering. Reports were presented by the chairman, the treasurer, the membership secretary and the volunteer coordinator. Election of members to the committee also took place.

Harvest Hop
On Sunday 19th September the village gathered for the ‘Harvest Hop’ fund raiser - where we raised just under £1000 more towards our target for access improvements that will benefit the shop once we open. There was dancing to a Ceilidh band, a bar, BBQ a raffle, tombola and games - a great time was had by all.
Date for your diary the Amberley Shop on the Common ‘Annual Members’ Meeting’ (AMM) Monday 18th October 7.00 for 7.30 start in the Church - formal notice to follow.
Saturday Pop-up Cafés
The monthly Amberley Pop Up Cafés on Saturdays on the school green have been going really well, providing a lovely back drop for people to reconnect and chat after such a long break. Our next one is on 10 July from 10-12.30. We serve delicious coffee, soft drinks, cakes and cookies. For the July sale, we are also offering pre-loved clothing and accessories to browse and buy, plus a Dressing Up Box stall and Fancy Dress Swap Shop for the children. Bring a costume and swap it for 50p
