On Friday 3rd October the café will be closing at Noon and not reopening. However, unusually during a funeral, the shop will remain open.

This is for the funeral of Phil Doble, a fellow volunteer. Phil was involved in the early days of developing the shop and café and as a volunteer he was a valued member of the team, always bringing a smile to every shift.

It was Phil’s wish that the shop remained open during his funeral. Of course, we are happy to do so, in order that everyone attending the funeral will be able to visit the shop and admire Phil's valued contribution to the Amberley community.

Our thoughts are with his wife, son and extended family and friends.
