SHOP NEWS …….

Sadly Good Small Farms will not be with us on a Tuesday for the foreseeable future while they concentrate on expanding their box scheme. We will keep you posted if they are able to return at any point. Salt bakehouse will still be here on a Tuesday in the forecourt with their delicious bread and pastries.

Thank you to all of our lovely customers who raised £125.73 for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

If you are starting the New Year with a health kick have you spotted Forthay Granola, muesli and granola bars in the shop? You may have met this lovely local company at the Christmas launch party where they were doing tastings.Their delicious award winning gluten free granola was created in the farmhouse kitchen of their B&B. Each bag is still freshly handmade. It makes a delicious and healthy start to the day.

Café News

The new menu in the cafe is proving popular, everyone is delighted that soup is back and the new oven has allowed us to extend the menu to include toasted sandwiches. you can view the full menu on the website here.

MUSICAL SUNDAYS are back !

Our December Musical Sunday was a triumph! The Sing-along-a-carol was led by Veronica Pride accompanied by her friend Sally on the keyboard. Around 50 people came to sing together and the complimentary mulled cider and juice went down very well indeed!!

This month's Musical Sunday features folk and classical violin music from the Annberliz Trio on Sunday 25th January 2.30-3.30pm.

Musical Sundays at the Amberley Shop & Café showcase incredible local talent for an hour of live music in our wonderful café. Our upcoming events are:

February 15th: Common Voices featuring Nailsworth voices with Amberley and Oakridge village choirs

March 15th: Mothering Sunday cream teas while Tom Parker plays his harp (booking essential)

March 22nd - Rodborough Folk Orchestra

All performances are 2.30 to 3.30pm and free.

a little note on parking……….

Parking on the forecourt is for blue badge holders only. We would ask you kindly not to park on the gravel or on the forecourt unless you are loading and unloading for the parish rooms or are a blue badge holder. School, playgroup, walkers and emergency vehicles all need to safely access the forecourt and they can’t do this if it is being used as a car park.
