Whether you are grabbing a loaf or looking for something special, we offer a range essentials for your emergency buys, as well as everyday treats, favourites and gifts.
It’s a place where you can pick up what you need, or chat with someone you know, or just met. You will find a lovely ambiance where we keep things simple: good food, honest essentials, and a warm welcome to all - locals and visitors alike. Our volunteers (all 90 of them) love to see familiar faces - and new ones.

Every Tuesday from 10.30 to 11.30 the freshest and much-loved local produce from Salt and other growers and makers is brought to you on our forecourt.
Helping our local small businesses grow, and ensuring the skills, flavours, and traditions of our area continue to thrive, is something we’re genuinely proud of. Putting money back into the local economy and reducing food miles is designed to strengthen our community.
