Shift Changes at Amberley Shop & Café

Our wonderful team of volunteers have shown their adaptability in adopting, almost seamlessly, our new rota times.  We have reduced the number of shifts from 4 to 3, increasing the length of each shift by half an hour to 2 ½ hours. Our Early Bird shift is still in place and is also half an hour longer.

The new rota looks like this:

Early Bird - 7.30–9.00am

Morning shift - 9.00–11.30am

Lunch shift - 11.30–2.00pm

Afternoon shift - 2.00–4.30pm

At weekends, we have a fantastic team of students working towards their Duke of Edinburgh Community Service Award and we have retained their shifts at 2 hours.

The reduction in the number of shifts per day has eased the need to fill gaps in the rota and relieved some volunteers of their double shift.

We are immensely grateful to our dedicated volunteer team for their willingness to change.
